Behavior Analysis Applied to you (For ABA professionals)
Behavior Analysis, Applied to You
A six-week system for your caseload, your week, and the life outside it
(BAATY for short)
Behavior Analysis, Applied to You is a self-paced workbook and Excel companion for RBTs, student analysts, BCaBAs, BCBAs, and others in the field. It applies the principles you already know to your own work and life, so you can see what matters, choose a realistic next step, and find your way back when a week falls apart. It isn't built for an ideal week that never quite arrives.
Over six weeks, you'll build a system around your actual role, routines, and capacity. The pace is up to you. The week numbers are a suggestion, nothing expires, and no one is behind.
What's inside
Six weeks, in order: workload and capacity, one trusted system, a realistic week, self-management, when relief keeps you stuck, and maintenance and reset
19 worksheets for what you're actually carrying, with a short teaching section before each week
Two sections most productivity systems skip: what to do when the problem is the workload and not the system, and how to ask for what the work requires, with starting lines for RBTs, students, and BCBAs
Three role toolkits for RBTs, student analysts, and BCaBAs and BCBAs
A Quick Reset card for the week that gets away from you
A starting-point check-in to compare against after six weeks, and a weekly review page for each week
A guide to the Excel companion, tab by tab, including how to keep using it past week six
The Excel companion. The download includes an 8-tab Excel workbook that gives your weekly plan, follow-ups, routines, and (if it's part of your role) your authorizations and team somewhere to live: Week View, Action Tracker, Client Work, Team & Supervision, Authorizations, Routine Builder, and Weekly Review. It has room for 26 weeks, flags what's overdue or coming up, and nothing in it is locked. A filled-in EXAMPLE version shows what each tab can look like.
What you receive. The download is one folder with three files:
BAATY Workbook (PDF, 66 pages, with fillable fields so you can type in it or print it)
BAATY Excel Companion (blank)
BAATY Excel Companion – EXAMPLE (filled in)
What it isn't. This is general education and planning support. It isn't clinical direction for a specific client, employer oversight, legal advice, mental-health treatment, BACB fieldwork supervision, or continuing-education credit. Use neutral codes only, never client names or identifying details, and follow your employer's policies. A section on sustainable load also tells readers when to talk to a licensed professional and gives crisis resources.
